Cincinnati Bengals star Adam "Pacman" Jones takes enough of a physical beating during the football season. He shouldn't have to be hit during the off-season. Unfortunately, he found himself having to defend himself at the airport in Atlanta Tuesday night.
Jones, who is currently a free agent, had just arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and was walking through the terminal with a female companion when he was approached by an airport employee, who made a gesture toward him. When Jones confronted the man, the two got into a verbal altercation and the employee punched Jones, causing a laceration on his face. He also allegedly hit Jones's companion.
Jones tackled the man, at which point police jumped in. They determined that the employee was the primary aggressor and arrested him for battery. Jones and his companion declined medical attention. (TMZ)
