Will there actually be a third installment of “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure?” After almost 30 years, it’s looking like it might actually happen!
The lead actors Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have not only kept in touch, but also worked together in 2015. Now they’ve teamed up with “Bill & Ted” writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, and there’s a new script in place.
“Bill & Ted Face the Music” finds the guys pushing 50 – and no further to carrying out the edict that came from Rufus to save the world. Chris said, “They’re married, and it affects their marriages, and it affects their relationships with their kids, and it affects their everything.”
At this point, the guys are close to closing a deal with some financiers, and they have a director in place. Steven Soderbergh and Scott Kroopf– the original producer of the first two installments – have signed on to produce, and Bill Sadler and a few other actors are already onboard. We’ll keep an eye on this one…
