Verizon Outage Effecting MOST Of The East Coast

Verizon has confirmed that there is a service outage that is preventing users on the East Coast from sending and receiving text messages.  "We have confirmed there is a texting outage on the east coast. Our technicians a fully aware we have a ton of customers that are being effected, and we're working non-stop to get this matter resolved as soon as possible. *IXR 1/3.". says a Verizon spokesperson. Most reports say the outage only effects text messages, and many users say they are still able to make phone calls.
