Some were great. Some were embarrassing. But all left us wanting more, and drove us to the record stores to pick up the LPs, cassettes, or (for the rich kids) the CDs that the songs came from. They were music videos. And they ruled the world.
I've picked a few of the videos of songs from this past Saturday's METAL WORKS (to check out the full playlist just click here). You probably saw these back in the day on Miscellaneous Television or Much Music or Night Flight or Friday Night Videos, etc. etc.
**Some of the video quality on these aren't great, but I tried to find the best version of each for your trip down memory lane.**
Enjoy!

Let's get things going with BLUE MURDER with "We All Fall Down" from the 1993 album Nothin' But Trouble.
Going way back to QUEENSRYCHE's first music video. And oh what a video it is. "Queen Of The Reich" from the '83 Queensryche EP. (Sorry, they stretched and cropped the video to fit widescreen, but it's the best version I could find.)
MEGADETH with "Train Of Consequences" off 1994's Youthanasia.
W.A.S.P. from '85's The Last Command with "Blind In Texas."
DEF LEPPARD with "Let It Go" off '81's High 'n Dry.
It's very difficult to find a good quality copy of this video, so this is the best I could come up with. Hell, I didn't even know it HAD a video until I started compiling this list. Here's STRYPER with "Two Time Woman" from their 1990 album Against The Law.
TESTAMENT with the title-track from '90's Souls Of Black. (Again, another stretched/cropped video - sorry! Why do people do that???)
Another title track... SKID ROW from 1991's Slave To The Grind.
Something new from legendary Rockers URIAH HEEP. "Take Away My Soul" from their brand new album Living The Dream which is out now.
And finally, RATT with "Way Cool Jr." off '88's Reach For The Sky.
