Dancing Squid Anyone?

The Japanese Rice Bowl is from northern Japan and it's called "Katsu Ika Odori-Don" which means dancing squid rice bowl. While the squid dances in your bowl and appears to be alive, it isn't. The squid has been decapitated, but the sodium from the soy sauce causes the muscles to spasm causing it to dance right before you.
