This birth story definitely reaches new heights.
Over the weekend, a woman went into labor on a United Airlines Flight that had departed the West African nation of Ghana headed to Washington Dulles International Airport.
About six hours into the 11-hour flight, the woman started having contractions.
Luckily, a doctor, nurse, and former nurse were all on board and able to help.
Fellow passengers said the plane also hit turbulence several times while the woman was in labor.
After about 2 1/2 hours, she gave birth to a baby boy on the floor in an emergency exit row.
Mom and baby are both reported to be doing very well.
