Shaquille O'Neal is doing his part to help take a bite out of crime in Georgia.
The NBA legend has kicked in $5,000 for the reward being offered by Henry County authorities for information leading to the capture of 22-year-old Jordan Jackson, who's accused of shooting Officer Paramhans Desai on November 4th, according to the Henry County Sheriff's Office. Combined with $5,000 from Crime Stoppers Atlanta, $10,000 from the U.S. Marshall's Office and $10,000 from Henry County authorities, the reward is now up to $30,000.
“Let me be crystal clear: We certainly will not tolerate any individual, regardless of who you are, coming to what we consider to be God’s country of Henry County and harming any of our police officers in any kind of way,” says Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett. “So, Mr. Jackson, whatever hole you’re in, I assure you we’re coming to find you, we will place you in custody, and we will bring you to justice.”
Do you think offering a reward results in a lot of bogus reports from residents hoping to claim the money?
