Christmas at Opryland is like Nashville's Super Bowl - the lights, the huge tree, Santa, and a ton of holiday-themed attractions like ICE! This year, they may be stepping up their Instagram game though with a new attraction called "I <3 Christmas Movies".
In an Instagram post yesterday, the resort announced "We're bringing to life the same, great holiday experiences you know...with something new to love! Walk-thru the most iconic scenes from your favorite Christmas movies like ELF, NATIONAL LAMPOON's CHRISTMAS VACATION, and more in our all-new, multi-sensory experience"
The display promises to have interactive, Instagram-friendly scenes from some of the best holiday classics of all time - including Elf, The Polar Express, and A Christmas Story. What exactly does that mean? Well, we're not quite sure yet. There will be 13 scenes complete with replicas of film props, famous audio clips, and more, making you feel like you're a part of the movie. It promises tons of photo ops as well - like a family pic in front of the fully decorated Griswold house. Of course, many of the other Christmas attractions at Gaylord will still be there, too, including ice tubing, gingerbread decorating, and live performances.
The resort also promises enhanced protocols and social-distancing measures to make it the safest possible experience for guests.
Gaylord's A Country Christmas featuring the new "I <3 Christmas Movies" exhibit, is set to open on November 13th.
