The Black Keys New Album Is Here!

The Black Keys "No Rain No Flowers" is here!

The band released a new video for "A Little Too High" for the album release.

The Black Keys put out the single, ‘Man On A Mission’, as the new album came

hot on the heels of “Ohio Players” ,

The duo already shared two singles from the album ‘The Night Before’ and ‘Babygirl’. The 11-track album was produced by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, with Rick Nowels, Daniel Tashian, and Scott Storch.

“I had worked with Rick Nowels on Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence,” Auerbach said. “We’d never really collaborated with a keyboard player or someone who writes on piano the way he does, but it clicked immediately.”

The new album follows last year's "Ohio Players", and the band dropped the title track with the announcement of the release date.

“We wanted to go straight to the source—into the room with people known for their songwriting. Daniel Tashian was one of the first people I met after moving to Nashville, and we’ve been fans of Scott Storch forever.”

The Black Keys released the single "Babygirl"!

The second song from their upcoming "No Rain, No Flowers" album, was co-written by The Keys and Grammy-award winning songwriter Daniel Tashian and producer Scott Storch.

"We’d been obsessing over Scott’s prolific output of material online and his overall body of work for years. Getting together with him in the studio and watching him get his hands on our collection of vintage keyboards was awe inspiring. He’s one of the greats." The band said.

The Keys announced their No Rain No Flowers North American tour, to take place this summer, when they released the first song, “The Night Before.

“After the tour was canceled, the consensus was, ‘Shit happens, and you just have to move through it,’” Carney said. “We were already on a creative streak, and the best thing we could do, rather than sit at home, was just go back in the studio. Get back to work. So, that’s how the record started.”

Auerbach would add that recording has always solved their troubles,

“Writing and recording has always been therapy for us, from the very beginning. We communicate best that way. It has always been the thing that’s brought us together, so I’m not surprised at all that we ended up back there so quickly after the last album.”
