We've gotten reports from Rolling Stone that Neil Peart, the drummer and lyricist for Rush, has passed away. He died Tuesday, January 7th, in Santa Monica, California at age 67.
A representative for the band confirmed the news that Peart had passed away due to brain cancer. Peart had been quietly battling brain cancer for three years.
