Hidden Fortress In The Tennessee Woods Is Worth The Drive To See

I will be the first person to say that I have NEVER seen an episode of Game of Thrones. I will start it very soon though I promise! There is a place here in the back woods of Tennessee that looks like it could be seen in an episode of Game of Thrones.

Down in Greenback, Tennessee there is a fortress tucked down in the woods of the Great Smoky mountains. The fortress is call the Fortress of Faith. Back in 1993 Junior Banks began building the Fortress of Faith and he said that the building still "under construction".

The exterior wall which you see above reaches 25 feet high. So don't go and try to sneak into the fortress because I doubt you'll be able to scale that wall! Besides, you can get into the fortress for FREE!

Check out some of the interesting stuff you can see at the Fortress of Faith.

If you're feeling adventurious, you can visit the fortress at 250 Lee Shirley Road in Greenback, Tennessee. It's open 7 days a week from 8am to 7pm and the admission is free!
