If you recently purchased a lottery ticket in Tennessee, you may want to check your numbers now as one lucky winner in the Volunteer State matched enough numbers in Wednesday's (August 20) Powerball drawing to score a $2 million prize.
According to the Powerball website, the lucky ticket sold in Tennessee was the only winning ticket to mach five numbers called during Wednesday's drawing plus the Power Play to win the $2 million prize. Additionally, tickets sold in Michigan and Oklahoma both won a $1 million prize.

Because no players managed to match all six numbers during Wednesday's drawing, the jackpot has risen to an estimated $700 million ahead of the drawing on Saturday (August 23).
