There’s a deep irony in the fact that Olivia Wilde was on stage talking about her film, “Don’t Worry Darling,” when she was apparently served with custody papers this week…as she shares her two children with ex Jason Sudekis. The couple split in 2020 and Wilde has been confirmed as dating Harry Styles since January 2021.

As “The Hollywood Reporter” explains, Wilde was on stage talking about her film when she was approached by a stranger and handed an envelope marked “personal and confidential.” After cracking that it seemed "very mysterious," Wilde said she was "going to open it now because it feels like it's a script." It wasn’t. Her reaction? She said, "Okay, got it. Thank you." And then she carried on with her presentation.

Such a sandbag seems a surprise for two people who have put a positive spin on their efforts to co-parent peacefully. What’s Sudeikis say? Nothing – though a source maintains he “had no prior knowledge” that Wilde would be served like that, adding, “He would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner.” Meanwhile, CinemaCon says they're re-evaluating security procedures - as in, figuring out how an uncredentialed person was able to get in and get to Wilde at all.
