Thieves Steal 1,000 Gallons Of Diesel From Gas Station

A group of Texans found an ingenious - but very illegal - way to deal with high gas prices. The owner of a Houston gas station says thieves stole more than 1,000 gallons of diesel using a complicated scheme.

He says they would park their van over the station's tank cap, break the lock, then use a tube to pump the fuel through a trap door in the bottom of the van.

The thieves were able to suck up 350 gallons of gas in just 15 minutes, and managed to make off with more than a thousand gallons - worth over $5,000 - over the course of several days.

Police are now searching for the thieves. How have you dealt with high gas prices?
