Spring Hill Car Wash Turns Into A Haunted Tunnel For Halloween

With Halloween just around the corner and many activities and parties canceled, people are looking for ways to get in the spirit of the season. While some are having virtual costume contests or going to drive-in theaters for themed movies, one business has come up with a fun way to spook its customers while maintaining a safe distance.

Great White Express car wash on Crossing Circle in Spring Hill have created a COVID-19-friendly haunted house experience, WKRN reports. Owners Debbi Whitlock and her husband love Halloween and thought this was a way to give back to their community in a unique way.

Director of Marketing Michael Lahey said the Whitlocks have been planning the "haunted tunnel" since November.

"We have two stations that give us the opportunity to scare you guys," said Lahey. "We put soap on your car, giving us the element of surprise. We are going to shake your car, run our fingers across the soap, yell and scream, and have scary music in the background."
The haunted tunnel will be open from 7-11 p.m. on October 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31. Tickets are $25 per car, and customers who go through the car wash will receive a goodie bag.
