Jason Aldean just announced that he will perform a surprise free show at his bar and club venue in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday night (October 30).
On Wednesday morning (October 30) Aldean shared a photo of the front of his bar to Instagram paired with a caption sharing the news.
"We're playing a free show TONIGHT in downtown Nashville at @JasonAldeans Kichten + Rooftop Bar." He adds, "Filming will be in session! Doors 6:00 PM // Show: 7:00 PM. First come first serve. Arrive early!"
Aldean did not specify exactly what the filming will be for, although some fans seem to think it'll be used in some way to promote his upcoming new album, 9, due out on November 22. The new 16-track project is Aldean's ninth studio album following up last year's Rearview Town.
Aldean has already revealed seven of the 16 new tracks featured on the album including the album's lead single, "We Back." Additional previously released songs include "Blame It On You," "I Don't Drink Anymore," "Keep It Small Town," "Dirt We Were Raised On," "Got What I Got," and "Camouflage Hat."
Fans who make it to Aldean's free surprise show tonight might get the chance to hear some of these new songs live for the first time. If you can't make it to Nashville tonight, the good news is Aldean's "We Back Tour" is officially set for 2020. The 20-city trek will kick off on January 30 and run through March 14, wrapping up in St. Paul, Minnesota. Joining him on the journey will be special guests Morgan Wallen, Riley Green and Dee Jay Silver. To get more information or to purchase tickets go to JasonAldean.com.
