President Trump Has One-On-One Meeting With Russian Leader Vladimir Putin

President Donald Trump has concluded his face-to-face meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland. The two leaders met for over two hours and discussed a wide range of topics, including the allegations that the Russian government was involved in cyber-attacks that targeted the computer systems of the Democrats in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.

In a press conference following their meeting, Putin denied that Russia was involved in any collusion with the Trump campaign pointing out that "there is no evidence guided by actual facts" that show his government was involved.

Trump continued his denial of colluding with Russia to help him defeat Hillary Clinton in 2016.

"There was no collusion, there was nobody to collude with," he said, adding that he didn't even know Putin at the time.

Trump and Putin both left the meeting optimistic and said they plan to meet often to work out the differences between the two nations.

"Getting along with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing," Trump said. "I think the world wants to see us get along."
