Halsey made an appearance at “Glamour's” 2018 Women of the Year Summit this weekend, where she debuted a new poem, "An Inconvenient Woman,” which touched on gender roles in both the workplace and at home, as well as much, much more.
The poem had Halsey sharing the notion that certain qualities considered “genius” for a man, is described as an “inconvenience” for a women. She noted, "You were not put on this earth to make everybody else’s life easier. So please, be inconvenient.” Check out the poem to the right.
