On Friday night (June 14th), Paul McCartney made his first appearance at Manchester, Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival. At one point during the show, McCartney -- who's no stranger to the unique fragrance of what he's often jokingly referred to to "herbal jazz cigarettes" -- told the hard-partying festival crowd: "That's some pretty good weed I can smell. What are you doing to me?"

And what a show it was! A nearly three hour set with two lengthy encores pleased the crowd of 80-thousand plus, who were a mix of young and old. My only complaint was having to stand next to a geezer that insisted on singing along to all the Beatles songs in the set, despite not knowing the words!
