Chicago is firmly steeped in the 21st century with its upcoming 36th album -- Now: Chicago XXXVI (36), set for release on July 4th.

The set, which was recorded entirely on location while on the road, was spearheaded by band co-founders, trumpeter Lee Loughnane and keyboardist Robert Lamm, who purchased the proper equipment -- and for the first time recorded an entire new studio set during stolen moments off stage using Pro Tools, which is a portable digital audio studio.

I have been a fan of Chicago since their first record back in the early 70's and continue to be a fan to this day. I really look forward to their new release!
