A night with a legend!

A night with a legend!

And what a night it was! This past Friday, the guitar god himself Eric Clapton put on a fantastic show in front of what appeared to be a sold out Bridgestone Arena. The evening was heavy on blues covers but Clapton did manage to pull out several favorites from his decades of hits. Two great surprizes for me that night. First, singer/keyboardist Paul Carrack was part of Eric's band and was featured singing lead vocals on two of his best known hits - Tempted by Squeeze and How Long by Ace. The other surprize was discovering Eric's drummer was none other than Steve Jordan, who was the original Late Night with David Letterman drummer and the original stickman for The Blues Brothers Band! Here's amateur video of Clapton performing an old Robert Johnson blues number...
