Justina Pelletier has been in the hands of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) for 16 months, ever since she was ripped from her parents’ care after a disagreement with Boston Children’s Hospital over their 15 year-old daughter’s medical diagnosis. Now the teenage girl has posted a  video to Facebook begging the state to let her go home.

“Please let me go home right now,” the girl pleaded sitting in a wheelchair. “All I really want to be with is with my family and my friends.”

The video was posted on Sunday night on the Facebook page called “A Miracle for Justina” and was uploaded to catch the attention of Gov. Deval Patrick, as well as Suffolk County juvenile court Judge Joseph Johnston — the judge who ruled the girl should be taken from her family.
